Stars, science, and a glass of wine:
A neurodivergent journey through the cosmos, right here in Greenwich.
HANNAH PRATT
at DAVY'S WINE SHOP GREENWICH
Having lived in South East London for over a decade, Greenwich is deeply woven into my work. With the Royal Observatory on my doorstep, it’s the perfect place to feed my lifelong astronomy obsession. While my work has led to incredible collaborations with places like CERN and the Science Museum, my daily inspiration usually just comes from wandering Greenwich Park with different cameras.
Ever since I can remember, I’ve been drawn to the cosmos and the strange, wonderful worlds of science fiction. As a neurodivergent artist, these vast places offer the freedom to escape a world that doesn't always understand my way of thinking. Science is my grounding safe space, where I can translate the beautiful colours of deep space or the radio waves of starlight into visual shapes and graphic scores.
In my practice, I love mixing the digital with the highly tactile. I use data and coding to create digital elements, then build on them by woking with my hands painting with my fingers, experimenting with analogue film, or weaving embroidery into digital prints. No two outcomes are ever exactly the same, and my hope is that you find your own completely unique connection to their subtle quirks and flaws.
This show introduces a brand-new collection of works, available to view in person and right here online. I highly recommend taking your time exploring the new pieces ideally with a really good glass of wine in hand, which is exactly how I'll be celebrating!
Finally, this exhibition is dedicated in part to my dad, who I lost in 2025. He loved science fiction as much as I do, and he was the very first person to put a camera in my hands—back when it weighed about as much as I did!
More Information on the event and the show can be found here I've also curated my own wine list for the show in collaboration with the Davy's Greenwich team, Enjoy!
