Sometimes the best holiday memories are the random roadside detours. On a road trip through France, I stumbled across this beautiful abandoned shop right next to a vineyard. It’s an old direct-sales spot for Cognac and Pineau and i loved how the old advertising was still clinging to the walls and wireframe bottle hanging on for dear life up top! I had my trusty Pentax ME Super loaded up with some expired film, which gave the whole scene this gorgeous, sun-baked, nostalgic feel. It really felt like stepping back in time for a minute before getting back on the road.
Taken on a road near the coast in Charente Maritime, south west France
Shot on my Pentax ME Super and expired Kodak 35mm colour film
