Late Summer Roses at Dusk
Captured during of dusk in late summer last year, this piece is a study in light, nostalgia, and quiet beauty.
I wanted to play with the changing evening light and see how the final rays of the sunset would react with the petals. To bring out the rich, textured mood of the scene, I shot this on my trusted Pentax film camera using an expired film stock.
The resulting image has a gorgeous, painterly, still-life quality. The unpredictable nature of the expired film added a beautiful depth and a soft, vintage grain that perfectly holds the warmth of that late-August evening. It’s a quiet, atmospheric print that brings a calm, natural warmth into any space.

Details
- Each print has been printed German Etching 100% Cotton 310 GSM paper which is acid fee and archival standard.
- The print is available in several sizes and framing options
- The print is sold unframed however framing options are also available so your print arrives ready to hang, but please keep in mind that at least an extra 14 working days will be added to the order so the print can be framed professionally. 
- I usually frame the pieces in an off white wooden (please see the ready to hang section in my shop for reference) frame on a floating mount in a in a box frame with Art Glass as standard to insure the longevity of the print.
