The Story Behind the Work
Family pics & Vintage Film: The base image is from a photographic slide my dad took of a hydrangea bush back in the late 1960s. I've always loved working with slides because the colour saturation and warm tones are just gorgeous.
Colour-Matched Stitches: I hand-stitch onto the photographic print, carefully matching the thread palette to the vibrant, soft tones found the original photograph.
Nostalgic Geometry: The embroidered shapes bring together the natural cluster forms of hydrangeas and the geometric textile patterns popular in 1960s home decor and textiles.

Each piece is dispatched in a secure cardboard envelope/flat box with a tracked courier service which also includes insurance.
Shipping within the UK is provided by Royal Mail tracked 48 hour service.
Shipping outside of the UK is provided by UPS.
